Android Phones and Tablets

There are two apps for connecting to a Jellyfin server on Android: Jellyfin’s official app, and Findroid.

If your phone/tablet is new enough (it came out in 2022 or later) you should use Findroid for a smoother experience. Findroid does not support transcoding (having the server convert the media for your device) so it might not work well on older devices.

Findroid supports downloading for offline

If your device is older just use the official Jellyfin app.

When starting the app for the first time, add a new server with this address:
